Maximus Claros is a young drummer that has played jazz/funk all across Rhode Island and has performed on the Lincoln Center Campus for a program called the Jazz Arts Collective. He received a scholarship to play in NYC while being mentored by many great musicians like Douglas Marriner, Kenny Washington, Charles McPherson, and Dion Parson. Maximus started performing on drums in many great music venues (Sons of Liberty, Chans, Bar and Board, etc..) at the age of just 14 years old. He has played alongside amazing musicians like Ken Vario, Donnie Aikins, Matthew Kowalski, Leland Baker, Noah Campbell, Grace Darko, and many others. Maximus' focus in music is to express emotions through his instrument and support the other players to amplify the energy and mood of the song.
